Sophia Gintersos was selected, as one of four Parisian lawyers, to participate in the esteemed exchange program between the Paris Bar and the Inns of Court in London.
For one month, Sophia was seconded at Hogarth Chambers and Monckton Chambers, studying IP through the prism of common law while gaining priceless international experience. She also had the privilege of shadowing judges in the largest judicial institutions (Old Bailey, High Court, Court of Appeal), in their daily work, gaining rare insights into judicial processes and decision-making in a common law system. The program ended with a mock trial at the Royal Court of Justice with English magistrates and barristers, in accordance with the procedural rules of English law, in which Sophia took part as a barrister.
Sophia’s participation in this prestigious program not only reflects her commitment to professional excellence but also underscores TALIENS’ dedication to fostering global collaboration and innovation in the legal field. We look forward to seeing how Sophia’s enriched expertise will continue to benefit our clients.
