In a case opposing Nokia and Mala, our Munich Team prevailed in defending Mala against a revocation action brought by Nokia against Mala’s EP 2 044 709 before the Paris Central division of the UPC. The UPC CoA sided with Mala in considering that the Paris Central division could not rule on the revocation until the Federal Court of Justice in Germany has made a final decision on a previously filed revocation action against the same patent.
