Günther is Of Counsel at TALIENS Germany.
He has extensive experience in intellectual property licensing, development and license contract negotiations as well as settlements of IP disputes and litigations.
Günther focuses on advising industry clients in the electronics and communications sectors in legal as well as strategic matters. He also acts as a mediator and is an experienced manager of teams. Günther contributes more than 25 years of experience in the technology industry. Prior to joining TALIENS he served as Vice President IP and head of the world wide patent department at Infineon Technologies AG (2013-2017), General Counsel at Lantiq (2009-2013), VP and Senior Director in the legal departments of Infineon (1999-2009) and Siemens (1988-1999).
He was Chair of the IP Committee of the European Semiconductor Industry Association (ESIA) and member and chair of the IP Committee of the World Semiconductor Council (WSC).
Günther studied law and macroeconomics at the University of Bayreuth and graduated from the Leyden-Amsterdam-Columbia Program of American Law. He was admitted to the bar in 1988.
